When the parasite research crowd starts making posts on the Messiah, all I can say is OMG!!!!

The U of A once had the best wildlife parasite staff in Canada, if not the world. Two cool dudes by the name of Dr.Holmes and Dr. Samuels (sp?) ran the operation.

And what has the U of A turned into?  A funded help group for women's studies.

The whole Dept. of Zoology at the U of  A is nothing compared to what is used to be. The parasitology dept. used to be outstanding.

Then budget allocations to create new departments like Women's Studies and other liberal feminist and socialist art initiatives had everyone else scrounging for research funds.

Harvest in Alberta 2018.
Thanks to the Notley carbon tax, global warming has been averted.
The additional funds from the carbon tax on propane that the farmers have been paying to dry their grain has really put her fund over the top.

I saw this for real when I was a little kid living in Dawson Creek.

The horse had a Loiselle Ranch brand on it, and old man Loiselle was not happy. This made big news  to all us little guys in elementary school who worshipped the cowboy culture.

The mounties did not allow the great American Hunter not to leave Dawson until his U.S. Bank cheque cleared in payment for said dead horse.  :)

WOW:
That movie will be worth paying to see on a large screen.

I am old enough to have met a lot of WW1 vets when I was a little kid.

Those mustard  gas stories were friggin scary for a little kid.  And true.

I get my coolers from costco for free, they put my meat in it right at the check out. I do find it works best from about the end of October to about end of April thought. Still not a bad deal for 5 months of use.
