Rest in peace Grandpa..

You took one in the guts and for three days you laid in a potato field before they found you..

I don't remember you but I remember the sacrifice that you and others made to make us free.

I'm afraid this day is lost on a lot of the new generation.

Unfortunately it's going to take another big one to straighten this world out some and maybe people will get over their petty issues and just be happy to be alive and free.
