This is an interesting article about the state of the province
And moving backwards . Pay attention to Brian Mason's
Interview. This province is now dissected at the belly button
The south still the balls but the north fat flabby man boobs .
When the dippers tell you what the people want they are not
Talking bout Calgary people or any other place south of Red Deer .
http://www.calgarysun.com/2016/06/10/notley-and-alberta-ndp-strut-their-stuff-at-calgary-convention
At the risk of sounding somewhat missogenistic why is it that only
Women that are shall we say less than attractive ,successful in politics .
Rachel would give Wynne,May or Allison a run in the miss Milk Bone
competition .
So when I think that the people here are getting what they want , I think
Allied Van Lines and I don't believe I'm alone .

I'm not going anywhere.
Meh..it's only three years and the NDP will be nothing but a bad memory.
I think I can tuff it out. ;)

Yah I don't know we will see how things go here in the next couple years.
The boys and I have been seriously considering moving one over to the east here the last while. Alberta is just running out of outdoor opportunities the last few years. It's just too tempting in Sask, it's looking more and more like the last frontier left in Canada. The thing is we all go or none so we will see.
Not sure I could handl all the Rider fans though lol.

Yes we have considered becoming Prairie nephies for some time now.
3 years ago I had an opportunity to buy 40 acres that was half Timber and half pasture with a cabin that had its own well / indoor plumbing and bathroom and septic with a diesel generator and solar system the nearest neighbor was a full mile away .for $25,000
By Meadow Lake.
I will be kicking myself over letting that one slip by for quite some time.

Holy crap... that would have made an excellent getawayfromitall cabin.

Heck I was thinking it would of been a great full time residence.
Lack of decent work in the area for a oilfield lifer was the main reason I hesitated on that deal.

Funny, same as you guys, life long Alberta guy, and thinking Sask, or NWT. Wild places seem gone here. Maybe with some going back east it might change?

Right on Walleyes. ;)
I remember a bunch of Saskatchewan relatives visiting me when Edmonton held the grey cup several years ago.
Those guys know how to party. They don't seem to stop until the booze store is out of Pilsner. ;D
What a bunch a guys... :).
I do have to admit that east and NE of CL sure is beautiful country.

I was asking a question , I wasn't insinuating that I was moving .....but I have moved
every time the NDP come to power where I'm living , Manitoba, BC , but I'm tired of moving .
My wife is done working in the spring , so we plan to spend more time on the coast , more time
At LOW Ont. I love the falls here and I got a pile of grandchildren . I would like to share your optimism
About the Dippers and only a 4 yr. stint . But that's what all my pals in Winnipeg were thinking for
16 years . Hope reigns eternal !

The NDP has badly bruised Alberta but we will heal in due time.
