A Few Eyes.
« on: March 22, 2014, 08:50:04 PM »
Braved the cold this morning and loaded up the quads and headed into one of our more remote lakes. It was a cold 45 min ride this morning in the -23 but it didn't take long and the sun came up and it warmed up, it was actually a pretty darn nice day.

The fish were on not to bad as well, between 4 of us we probly iced over 20 wally's and had no problem coming home with our limit. Nothing big but that is not what this lake is about,, never were big fish in it,, its a meat lake,, go there catch your supper and enjoy..

Planning on heading out to Labiche on Monday, will have a report from there.

Couple pics from the day.

Man, those look goooood! I can't wait to get out there, when the bite is on at Round lake (about 6 kms away) you can limit out every night on walleye. My wife always has the frying pan ready when I get home and in they go.

Love taking the grandkids out!!!  One almost wishes that you had them first, because they listen to good counselling ;D.  I have taken the grandkids out for 17 years(she also is a hunter), and the grand boy loves the sound of a rifle, especially when he is running the .22.
