Amazing Underwater Rainbows - Like a Fish Tank
« on: February 24, 2015, 06:32:14 PM »

This was one of those days that really makes you believe 90% of the fish are in 5% of the lake.  Although tricky to find that 5 % sometimes it sure is nice when you do!

The Rainbows here were schooling like I have never seen before and who knows, may never see again.  Just glad to have some of it on video.  If you're watching most of the hookups are in the last half of the video.  Hooked up on a big one on camera so that was neat.

Cool video.

Little to much action on the lure by the looks of it at the start. You seemed to be dropping lots of bait hey,, maybe a double set on the bait would have made it last longer.. Good stuff to watch makes a guy think about what's going on down there.

Yeah the fish wouldn't come around if the spoon wasn't moving a lot.  This is a whole bunch of clips from a couple hours so really the spoon isn't always moving. when it is moving all the fish rush in to check it out so it makes the best video.  I just put it together to show the amount of trout down there.  Some bait came off, its cut up pieces of shrimp so I had lots just replacing after every fish cause it just comes off after a few bites or a fish.   A little mushy, doesn't hook well when cut up like I did.
