Wow what a beautiful day for 2 Old Guys

Ripping flies

Trout fishing at its finest

Jasper National Park is a Gem

26 trout landed(Tim 16) , mainly Brook Trout

landing trout to music is exhilarating

we had a fellow angler leading us for a while listening to the music too

gave us a bit of hope when he kept saying over here there's a big one

2 Old Guys having fun fun fun

Right on speckle those are beauties. :)

Do you think dragging a fly with spinning gear would work?

yes it will work i would use 2 split shots no lead but bisumuth will work lead free ... or i used too use a Williams Wobbler and a fly with the wobbler have two swivels n 2ft of line too 4ft of line too fly on spin cast ....

Thanks for the info.

Yesterday I ordered a couple of boat seats from Cabelas.Once I get them installed we'll be heading to Maligne.

I'll let you know how we made out. :)

Hi Speckle:

Who is that masked man?  Is he a park warden that was supposed to be chasing "popcorn feeders"  by the salt lick on 16? ;)

Nice looking fish. 

By the look of the snow off shore, a guy could go fishing in morning, ski the Bald Hills in the afternoon, and go fishing in evening. :)
