I've hit the NSR a couple times now...fishing is pretty slow but there are a few burbs and tiny pike around, and I managed to find this guy as well...

Still lots of ice in Sask. It's melting fast though so it won't be long.

Haven't been out yet but I'm chompin at the bit to go. Been reading all the Backroads Map books I have and committing the fishing regs to memory for all the different lakes I want to try. Probably spent more money than I should have to outfit my wife and I for walleye fishing but I think we've got what we need to catch em.

Geezle, keep posting those walleye pics, it gives me something to look forward to waiting for the lakes to open up. I'm ready to go load the boat on the Jeep.

forgot the camera, but a friend and i were at cavan on sunday night. caught a couple dozen in just under 2 hours.

I have been out to Bullshead once and a couple of the small trout ponds around the Lethbridge area. I have hooked into a pretty good number of fish already this season.

I am dumping my boat in a lake tomorrow to go hunt for some eyes and will probably spend the whole weekend out there hunting down prespawn sows.

It is going to be a pricey weekend but well worth it. My boat hasn't seen water since opening weekend last year due to a broken fly wheel and no funds to fix it.

Not a bad evening down at the river yesterday...managed to get in to a few walleye, with a sauger and a pike thrown in for variety. Got to hang out with Josh Gelinas from the forum too

Bwahahaha! Guiding on the NSR is definitely an entertaining though, but I don't think it's really my style...making a job out of fishing would take some of the fun out of it for me. Besides, my catch rate isn't all that super-spectacular, I just put in a lot of time when I can

lol...I went ice fishing today and got skunked..

The friggin ice was melting under my foot..
