BC Ice Adventure
« on: February 06, 2015, 12:01:51 PM »
Did some exploring of ice bearing lakes around Kamloops British Columbia and had some fun. Got my first brook trout through the ice. They're stocking a lot of lakes with All Female Triploid Brooks not. They get huge. A guy on the ice said he cause a 7 pounder in November. Can't wait to hook up with one like that. He asked me what pound test I was using and when I said 4lb he laughed said he uses 25 lb. Guess they do it different in BC. Anyways here's a couple out of provice ice adventures if you're ever interested in crossing the BC line.

Tried out a supposedly trophy lake in BC, but wasn't lucky enough to land any big ones. Had some fun action in the fog though on Tunkwa Lake.

Went Ice fishing for the First time in BC canada after Brook Trout. The fish were marking on the MarCum but not interested. Finally hooked up on one.
