Beautiful little Piette Lake

Ice coming off May 12

love camping May long with no snow !!!!

my middle son Nathan n I did the long weekend at the lake

camp ground was full

very nicely looked after n clean

fishing was slow but to be honest we did miss a few

took Nathan 20 minutes first night to hook n land a 15-16 incher

got mine next day

slow for most anglers there

great weekend

fun fun fun

It most likely snowed there last night and most of the day Sonny. Did you notice the white on the hill across from my place as you came in? Dave you are fishing different places this spring. 2 trips to Grande Cache in a week?

Thanks all .. was using fish head Brown Woolly Bugger n full sink 7 with lead core 15ft then 15ft fluorocarbon  and ripping fly as we were trolling .. mini-kota 55# at 20 to 50 per-cent on speed or around 1 mph in 12 to 20fow
