Beetle hook

I am a bit of a do-it-yurself kind of a guy and i like to tie my own flies and make some of my own lures.
So knowing that fish and trout in particular eat beetles, I am always looking for a beetle imitation. I hot glued a coffee bean onto a small lead head jig and figured it looked a lot like a beetle.
Then I got thinking, its bait and may not be legal in water bodies that don't allow bait. After all trout probably need their morning coffee just like we do.
