Lesser Slave Lake gets it's dose about this time of the year when the water has been calm for a couple of days.

Those "grass clippings" love the warm shore water.  The swimmer's itch nematodes also pop up this time of the year.

Not the best for swimming for man or beast.

A good cold front with six foot waves usually cleans things out in about a week.  N

Summer is almost over.
