Never heard. Forward the pic let's have a see. I know there have been a few going around the internet the last few years let's see if it's one of those or a new one.

I hate those things they're gross. If its just a jig I have on when I catch one I just cut the line lol..

We fished for them once a couple years back out on labiche just in front of the bro inlaws place. Caught a few and brought them in for a fish fry. By the time I was done cleaning those stinky bastards I was grossed out. We battered them and deep fried them but I couldn't eat much. Had that gross smell in my head and couldn't get it out. Have never kept one before or since. I would rather eat a jack and that don't happen very often.

Nope,, not for me..

I know that Sean caught that big burbot a few years ago in Dief and just know their website.  They used to fish along side of us in Wabamun in the old days when the plant was open and we fished open water in the winter in front of the discharge.  The Geeks are fairly well known.

Wow that is an unreal burbot!!!  If that is a record good for him.  I have no idea how we don't get more big ones if they actually get that big because not many people catch and keep them.  Oh well I'm not really into burbot fishing but I should to a show sometime on burbot fishing.
