In this video I use my IPAD to try to better demonstrate how the Deeper Pro Plus Portable Sonar WiFi Works for ice fishing for yellow perch.  I hope this gives you a better picture since the last one I did for brook trout wasnt the greatest lighting.  While I did have some issues with my IPAD freezing after downloading the new iOS from Apple to run the new Deeper program it did not seem to be any fault of the Deeper Device itself but rather an issue that you may run into with your devices out on the ice.   Hope you enjoy the video!

Have you ever tried putting your flasher/lcd at the back of the hole with your rod tip pointing at the freshest part of the screen. I find this way you can watch your sonar and rod tip at the same time.

Yeah that's how I'd usually do it, but you probably aren't trying to make a video while you're fishing.  Sometimes what I do is for a better camera angle and not to optimize the fishing.  But to detect the faintest of bites you really have to just focus on the rod when you're expecting a bite.
