Well we made it out to Eagle yesterday for a few hours and fishing was ok,not great but not bad either. In total we caught about a dozen walleye and about the same number for pike.I'm not sure if it was caused by runoff or not but the water was murky/muddy,maybe it's normal for this lake I don't know.
Anyway two walleyes were keepers, one was 52cm and the other was 53cm.Sure were tasty tho.. ;)
The best part of the day was when my grandson cranked in his first ever walleye and then his first pike. There sure was a lot of grins in the boat.. ;D

btw...I have to be nice to the guy wearing the Hoyt ball cap,his boss owns 8000 acres of land..hahaha ;)

Caught a few on cranks but most were caught on a jig with a 4 inch twistertail.

Heh......orange was the colour of the day.So much for yellow being my fav.. :)
