East Pit Update
« on: May 30, 2011, 11:41:03 PM »
Had the day off today so I went out to East Pit by Wabamun this afternoon.  Caught a bunch of this years stockers but did catch a couple of last years trout that were about 2.0 pounds.  It looks like East Pit survived a a severe winterkill this year.  The water is the lowest I have ever seen there which surprizes me after this winters snow.  Anyone wanting to learn how to flyfish; East Pit would be ideal now.  Lots of trout rising now towards evening.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?
