When I worked in Jasper many centuries ago, I recall the local kids going to catch a run of Rocky Mountain Whitefish at this time of the year out of the Athabasca.  I think maggots were legal then. maybe not. If I were a hungry Bull trout this is like the L&W at half price.

Might not want to hang a Bull Trout on the wall,, aren't they another protected species in this province. Protect the carnivore species so it can feed on the lesser species in the Eco system,, sounds like a plan made in Alberta lol.
