First salt water trip!
« on: July 02, 2011, 09:33:38 AM »
Four of us headed to Prince Rupert this spring just after the May long weekend, it was the first salt water fishing for all of us, we had a great time, limited out on halibut, the biggest was 70 pounds, and were a few short of a limit of springs, we would have had a limit but my buddy had trouble keeping fish on the line... we will go back and do it again...

Good stuff Rocks love the pics.. Some dandy fish love the Hali's. You boys are going to enjoy them you have the perfect eaters.. Same as the springs you have not to big just right..

Just a note,, you are now infected with the bug,, the west coast fishing bug. There is no known cure for it.. It can be an expensive bug but hey its an enjoyable infection..

I hear ya Walleyes. Been having a couple good feeds of fish a week since we got back, and yes we are already talking about going back, I'm pretty sure this will become an annual trip!
