Fort Sask. Trout Pond
« on: May 09, 2012, 04:20:57 PM »
The last couple weeks Axeman and I have done some fishing trips to new pond. Last year it was stocked and this spring looks like the trout are doing well. Average catch is around 1 lb. to 1.5 lbs. They are quite scrappy.
The pond is located near the boat launch in town. The pond has a sandy bottom and is about 22 feet deep.

You said the lake bottom is sand.  Can you wade the lake or is the bottom to soft?

Cheers,
Doc

I have not ventured into the water. Not sure if the bottom is firm enough to stand in.

The shoot went really good but the crew froze up there and were using hand warmers to keep warm. They ask me if I was cold and I said and I will warm up right away. Angie and Adam at Vintage Reprise did a really good job. It was hard not to chop the time down some more.
Here is her web site:  http://www.vintagereprise.com
She has done done rock videos as well. Stay tuned to for my next video.

Lat night Axeman took me for a ride and look what I caught. The fish was turned over to the owner because he wanted trout for dinner.  :o
