good looking fish Gezz. congrads. good old redneck fun fellas, can't beat it. believe it or not i miss that big old river. didn't surface at all when you hooked her before you started the video?Dace
Thx for the fishin education.
This thread makes me regret having any length/weight measurements posted...it played out just like a thread at that other place. I wish I knew why, but I know there are a couple out there who have a chip on their shoulder towards me (Remember how the Karma thing worked out?) but whatever it is, why not grow a pair and tell me what your issue is with me and let's get past this. Really, are we in high school again? (This goes beyond this thread and the posters in it...but those in question know who they are...and if this is out of line then I trust that the mods will edit it and give me the proverbial slap on the wang, but I'm getting seriously tired of the games)Apparently there are a couple charts that have different results on them that don't agree. I don't have a lot of experience with these fish in general to know a lot about what they weigh, and after being told by the fish cops that they DON"T want you to weigh them...well...how's a guy to know for sure?
geezle man! still very impressive! bring in those photos man we need 2011 photos at the fishin hole besides the amazing trout weeman caught OH and np if it was white sturgeon it would take jay all his buddys and 2 random people from the street to lift the damn thing haha!
Good stuff guys. I think I recognize that spot. It looks like the water treatment plant just south of Fort Saskatchewan? I never would have thought to catch a sturgeon there. I have always wanted to do it and just need to find time to go do it. I'm going to try and get the kids out in the next few weeks here and hopefully will have a few pictures to share.
50th street by there?
Yes sir thats the place and nice close to home .
I have been there a few times but to look at the mule deer running around. I noticed a lot of guys fished there. Is there a deep hole in there? Seems like it would be quite shallow.
