Got out again today.

Got out again today, hit a small back woods lake. First auger on the ice this year and had the whole lake to myself all day. Unfortunately the Walleye weren't playing today just a few small Pike again. Such a nice day out though, I think I was in the quietest place on earth today just unreal.

Pics are a little wonky, grabbed them off my go pro, am collecting some footage for an end of season video I'll be putting together.

Nice, thats my dream, search and find a nice backwoods Perch lake, only accessible by sled or atv. There are a few "ponds" back in my Northern hunting zone that look deep enough. Going to have to put the electric motor, couple rods in the canoe, drag it behind the argo on the tub trailer and check them out one of these summers.

     First auger on the ice and having the whole lake to yourself, I'd say you're winning from the get go.  Fish are just a bonus.
