Heading South.
« on: May 16, 2017, 05:00:25 PM »
Got the boat and all the gear packed up we are heading south in the morning. Going to spend a couple days in Med Hat with our son. Plan on hitting some southern Res for a couple days. Prob hit Newell one day and 40 Mile one day we will see how long we stay or if momma will let me hit it a 3rd day.

Taking the camera and the new GoPro see how it goes, should have a few pics and clips when I get back.

If your heading back via Lethbridge, Chin might be a good place to try right now.

Best Wishes. :)

Won't be going through Lethbridge but I was thinking of maybe doing Chin. We will see maybe if we fish Sat we might hit it.

Pretty slow day on 40 Mile today, few small pike and a couple smaller eyes. Wife wants to spend the day around town visiting some friends tomorrow, will hit either Chin or Newell Sat.

Well that was kind of a crappy fishing weekend lol. Didn't get out to Newell or Chin, we decided to just roll up yesterday morning and head home. Being in the wind there for a couple days reminded me why I hated fishing in that country so much lol. Looks like the week is supposed to be pretty good here around home so we will see, Should be able to get out a couple times.

To bad Walleyes. I love the south country spent lots of time on a horse in the foothills, but the wind can get to a guy. Not sure I could take it full time. Good luck on the home turf.
