How big is it?
« on: August 23, 2012, 12:04:06 AM »
Wifey caught this guy at Wab last week.

We got a quick weight on the lip lock scale but never put the tape to it.

Any guess's?

Boy I find that many times pictures don't do a fish justice, then again they can stretch it some.

But I will take an educated shot at it and say around 12 - 14.

Lets make this interesting.

1 guess per person, closest to the weight wins a Cabelas combo Advanced Angler Filet set with scale, compliments of Cabelas and Alberta Sportsman.

We will leave it open until Aug 31st.

If 2 people are closest, for example someone guessed 1lb 2oz and someone guessed 1lb 4oz and it was 1lb 3oz then draw by random number. If someone guesses the same weight same deal, random number draw. Sonny sorry you can't guess  :P

GO!

given my limited experience with pike I'm going to say it is easily 3.5 times larger than a 1500 gram brown trout.
My guess is 12lb 9 oz
thanks a lot for the chance

Hope this goes over well....

You can get a good look at a steak by sticking your head up a cows ass or you could just take the butchers word for it
