Ice Out Reports.
« on: April 26, 2017, 06:48:38 PM »
Been looking forward to and counting the days until May 8 as a lot of the lakes in Sask I fish open on the 8th but holy cow,, I might be going ice fishing if this keeps up. The lakes around here are solid yet, I wouldn't be scared to drive on them. Let's hope for sunshine and a couple good warm rains.

^^^^^^

Amen to that Walleyes. :)

And some nice warm winds to move the ice and create a spring turnover of the water.

Looking pretty good for next week.  Hopefulluy it will put a dent in some of this ice, a couple of lakes near home have opened up from the walleye ban and I can't wait to get out and try to hook a few once the season opens.
