Lake Iosegun

Camped there from friday afternoon till this morning and we had a blast.
Saturday and sunday the weather sucked with cold rain and winds but monday was nice.Sunday was our best day for fishing and the three of us put 178 fish in the boat, mostly walley plus a few pike.No big ones tho,the biggest walleye was only 49cm long but on the bright side we had no problem filling our class C tags and dang those made a good shore lunch.. ;D
One thing that I did find strange is that we never seen one fish cop all weekend long, you would think with the implementation of the tags system there that they would have been out in force....Oh well,we had a great time anyway..

Lots of skeeters..lol

It's just your basic campsite, table and firepit but they do have free firewood and that's a bonus these days and the camping fee is $18 per night..

Check this site out for campsite info.. ;) ;)

Looks like a good time there, congrads, would be great to pull the boat up here and go fishing there on casing break, but know way I would pull her back down the Simonette, might be worth my while to find a place to store it in Fox Creek for a hole. How would shore fishing be there??

I use to fish Smoke and Iosegun a lot, hard to find the big ones but easy to find lots, sure makes for a great time.
