Hey speckles55

How do you cook your whitefish?  I have seen lots while ice fishing, but never targeted them.  How do they taste fried or do I need to smoke them.

(tried them smoked from a friend, but I do not have a smoker. Are they good to fried up and eat?)

Any info whould be helpful.

Cheers

Thanks Speckle55

I think a will be tring for some whites this winter for sure.

Also, do you fish for them in summer?  I see tons rolling on the surface when I am walleye fishing.  I am thinking of some sort of fly set up.

Any helpful tips would be great.

Most Lake Whitefish lakes are closed March 31 so check your regs .. here is some from this last summer .. we will be chasing some records in May this year. and yes to fishing them in summer they still have to eat so match the hatch or what they are eating as they will chase minnows etc

David :)

Thanks Speckle55
