Mary Gregg lake.

Had an urge to go fishing at Mary Gregg lake,haven't been there in years.

Anywho a hook and worm set 8 feet below a slip bobber did the trick. Had my limit of 5 pan size rainbows in less than an hour.

No big ones but I know there are some nice ones there.  ;)

And yes I take Mr. Slugster with me when I go there.  8)

 Yes that's a nice looking spot . And good eating fish .
  You raise a good point ,I want to take Mr. Heavy Lead
   with me when I walk the dog here in Okotoks , we had
    2 Grizz in town last year . I have extreme Bearnoia,
     Anywhere west of number 2 , I want full Arsenal .

Two years ago Lorna Weefer was mauled to death at Suncor. She did not die quickly and it's been playing on my mind.I seen that bear just a few days before and he was a big bugger.

Since then I think differently about bears and if I go in bear country Mr.Slugster goes wit me.

btw...went back to Mary Gregg and caught a few more.

Hey Sonny:

After the big fire and now the big flood what are the bears doing when you talk to the Ft. Mac. folks.

Are they coming back home, or visiting uncle buck and his neighbors for a while?

I heard that lots of bears are coming into town and 17 had to be removed so far.Also we are seeing lots of bears on site.
