I made it out to Brodyk Lake on Sunday for the day in my 14 foot aluminum.  A small thunderstorm basically sat over us for most of the day.  It changed directions three times and poured on us 3 separate times.  One lightning bolt hit a ridge about 400 yards from us.  The fishing was not too bad.  Caught a several nice pike up to about 8 or 9 pounds.  The pike were still in the shallow warm water bays.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

I was at my place in the Crowsnest Pass and took the boat out to Lees Lake...Caught and released many 6 to 7 inch trout then the rain hit and got soaked...For the first time out this year, it was worth it....

Treat each day as your last; one day you will be right.

I fished a spot in the NSR for an hour and a half, and had two bites but didn't land a fish.  It was really nice to get out for the first time and feel my jig bumping along bottom.
