Milk River Float
« on: April 25, 2020, 12:07:23 PM »
Hi all.  I’m considering a trip to the south of the province to float/fish the Milk River in mid to late May.  Anyone have any experience with traditional water levels and average depth at that time of year?  Ideally I’d use my 14’ Jon boat, and will only have one vehicle so being able to motor back upstream would be key.  It’s obviously a shallow draft boat, but I don’t have a jet outboard.  Just a short shaft prop.  Is this even a feasible option?

Thanks for any input!

I would think it’s due to the fact maybe no one on here has experience in this matter. Don’t take it personal but the members on here tend to not fill people with fluff. If they know they would help I’m sure.

There are sites out there with people that will fill you full of bull shit I’m sure.
