Missed the opener , lake was barely open !

So went yesterday, water 44F , dead calm and sunny .

Wind picked up about noon , a few milting males showed
  themselves . Small pikes ! Still to early but giant mosquitoes .

 Some friends have had solar UV skin problems .
  So I'm covering up .
