Moose Lake BC Yesterday Mar 2 2013

Went to Moose Lake BC just across the border by Jasper and in Mount Robson Park with my middle Boy Nate and 3 of his friends had a great time i got one 23incher Laker it was only 2#8 but over 20" so i let it go and my boys buddys caught 3 lakers one guy and one guy got 4 Rocky mountain Whitefish

The snowstorm we had lastnight wasn't so nice tho,not when you gotta drive up to the Mac in it.. :(

David, I see the guys are using full length fishing rods in the pic.  Any advantage to that for lakers?

Hi AxeMan ... lol nope not for me but the boys used and they did well,,, so who am i .. lmao.. i was the guy in the heated one man suit case fold up tent and had half a rod with 300 yards of 20# line .. looking for a frieght train type of fish,,, got a 2#8 so i released .. i have a ice fishing beauty mounted at home so i can wait for my chance at a Laker
