Here is nice photo of the friend that has caught thousands of fish. It squeaks and is set up with Vanish Fluorocarbon Line.

Time to revive this thread as the river is so clear this fall.  The fishing now is as good as I have ever seen it in my life.  Get out and find a hole away from the crowds and you will have fun.  Weeman and I went out yesterday for the day and caught dozens and dozens of fish.  I did some exporing in the Jeep and found two new honey holes.  Walleye, sauger, goldeye, and pike.  I bet I landed about 30 walleye myself.  Nothing was really big but some decent fish.  The bite at dusk was awesome.

Axeman slayed walleyes. Fun day motoring around the country side glory hole hunting.
This trip paid off well for us.  ;)
