What’s everyone’s plans for the big opening weekend. I’ll be at work until the 20th but then it will be go time. Planning on getting at some walleye in Marie and maybe Ironwood lakes. Really looking forward to this season quite a few opportunities out there this year.

Wife sent me a pic yesterday and it’s looking pretty good. I bet by this weekend it’s ice fee. Which surprises me I thought it would never be off by the weekend.

A very lucky young man. A very lucky grandpa.

I remember days like this in northern B.C. when I was his age.

And then there was the day dad and I went onto the Pacific Ocean for the first time. OMG. There is a heaven.

The only time I have wept in my life was at my father's funeral thinking of the fishing and hunting trips.
