Outdoor kayak storage

We were looking for some plans for easy access outdoor kayak storage and didn't see much out there. Found a pic on the internet that seemed like it would work and modified it for the space we had. Turned out OK:

Gentlemen:

Thank you for the your kayak storage video.

I have a request for you fellows.

Get your cameras out and assess some high end kayaks like Hobie and the other major sellers. I know there will be free demonstrations out of Calgary this summer.

The both of you are already seasoned kayak fishermen, so it is time for some professional assessment with perhaps a sponsorship.

My belly boat and pontoon boat are ending their useful and safe fishing days. I have been looking at fishing kayaks real hard, and figure you two gentlemen just might help me out in acquiring one.

Thank you

Looks good guys. two things come to mind. Better security and a tarp to cover the structure so no one see them in there and protects from the sun. Scum stole my cat off my truck with a sawzall in seconds, be noting to cut through wood and be gone with 2 nice kayaks.

FYI: I didn't listen to the vid, just skimmed through it so apologies if you are doing something I missed hearing.

Thanks, we have kayak covers coming.  We will review them when they arrive.  Yes, security is still an issue, although we are adding some other features as well.  What I didn't mention is that there is also a motion sensor light and camera on that side of the house, but nothing is 100% secure.
