Reel Review Great Price
« on: July 27, 2017, 11:37:51 PM »

I was recently introduced to a new fishing company called Piscifun. One of there specialties is high quality fishing reels with prices that won't break the bank. In this video I am describing the features of the Honor 3000 Spinning reel and taking it out on the lake for the first spin. I am fishing for walleye on a tough bite day, but with the help of my deeper sonar I am able to find the fish and slow things right down in order to convince some to bite. The action goes a little crazy and this reel is everything I need to get the job done. I am really happy with this reel. It feels great, cranks great and has a silky smooth drag. I give it two thumbs up.

I was actually pretty surprised for the price this real really impressed me. Sometimes when you get stuff to try it's actually hard to do the reviews, but hey if you need a reel 60 bucks is great for this one.
Thanks for watching.

Haha, no I don't want any sponsors since I have trouble meeting the demands.  I've had several offers but refused to sign a few contracts.  Companies do send me free stuff though to try out sometimes.  I'm a sucker for freebies so if I like the stuff it ends up in videos.  Sometimes it makes it into videos and sometimes not.  Unfortunately I'm still buying my own slender spoons.

Admin can delete whatever posts they want of mine no hurt feelings.  I don't get anything from the sale of these reels or for sponsorship besides them sending me the reel for nothing.

They said they were going to send another and Im not sure I'm excited about it cause I'd rather just fish.  But some viewers like these gear review vids.

I was impressed by This reel, can spend 400 bucks on a shimano and seems pretty similar to this one.

Good timing, needed a new reel so ordered one.  Always on the look out for a good bang for the buck.  Buying fishing stuff for the whole family adds up.  I have an abu garcia that keeps breaking one of the bail arms so it will go on that rod.

No Brandon I'm sure Paul has no issues with it, it was just a rub on my behalf. Pauls not in this for money or personal gain like some sites it's just his pet project.

Yup Paul's a good guy!

I just want to keep it clear I'm still trying to just be independent.  I like helping people out and trying new products though.  Got a good day job and love to fish, what can I say haha.

Thanks Doc, I love your video's and love gear reviews. I spend the summer on horse back so my fishing is mostly fly fishing. I still hit open water a few times and its great that your video's and Walleye's Fishing Report thread keeps me in touch. Anytime you want to do a Fly fishing Vid, that would be great. Can never stop learning from guys like you.

Yeah I've been doing more fly fishing here in bc but pretty much all still water fly fishing.  Would be nice to fish some streams on dries.

There's a lot of very good reels around that won't break the bank last winter brought in some yomores reels and for the money they were bulletproof and 10 bearing very smooth. Some of the brand names are very very poor especially zebco and those cheap combos are single bearing plastic. I'm gonna look into these maybe bring some in for the store. This year we are bringing in Lews, 13 Fishing, Shimano and Daiwa.

That's some good stuff, yeah zebco is quite junk.  Even a lot of the quantum stuff now is just terrible.

13 fishing and Shimano is great!  These Pisifun are quite reasonable.  They were going to send me out a bait caster, not sure if they will or not cause my videos are not getting many views right now for some reason.  Must need to step it up a notch.  For some reason I think people aren't getting the notifications.  I mean 9000 subscribers and none of them watch the videos?  I don't get it.

Oh well anyways this one baitcaster is like 38 bucks, they say its their best deal for what you get.  That's really cheap for a good bait caster.  You may want to look into them.

Gonna have to check those out Paul, as well as some of the others your bringing in. I know I'll be ordering another iFish and some more spoons before ice season.

Always enjoy your fishing vids, I imagine the summertime has more people not paying as much attention to watching videos and such.

I think you're right about that.  It does seem that my winter views are higher and the ice fishing videos do get a lot more attention in general.

But I have a Gardening channel as well and that one really takes off in the summer!

Just wondering what your experience has been rod wise......
