Just got back from "one" of the yearly fishing trips to rupert. Fishing was good
Limits all around, Salmon, Halibut, bottom fish. prawning ok, crabbing starting to be a issue with ohters pulling traps. I put time lapse trail cam on shore and thought someone was pulling traps, turned out a few others were pulling traps in cows bay :(

Highlights(3 of us fishing)
Ling cod, best 110cm Ling Cod, kept nothing smaller then 75cm
Halibut, best 153cm, 3<83cm and 3>83cm, the unders were ~ 82cm. Transporting hali's whole were a issue with new restrictions
Salmon, we only caught 2 springs<20lbs, worked hard to complete a limit of coho, Pinks were everywhere. released 50+ salmon a day easy.

Fish rupert several times a year, want to hear from others that make the trip. I love it out there but ther has to be somewhere better then rupert. Looking to maybe buy property out there(retirement)

How you keep crab fresh on ride home
