i know it is a stocked rainbow trout lake and perch were introduced illegally but im just wondering how the fishing is there? has anyone fished it and do you have any tips or tricks for it? my mom just bought a quarter section of land about 2 minutes away from it so i thought i would give it a try this weekend

Did you ever try it out?  I grew up right near that lake, used to have lots of perch and small rainbows.  We'd catch fish all day on the usual baits - worms, corn, maggots, grasshoppers.
Lots of other pothole lakes in that region and I always wondered if they held fish or not.
