Southern Alberta opener tomorrow.

   Already here , was plus 29 c  yesterday , plus 4 this am ,
    may go to plus 7 today , little warmer tomorrow, no wind ,
     this is the definition of a cold front .
       Ground is really wet  , launch should be interesting ,
        I'm celebrating by putting new line on all the reels . Lol
         Should be great !

Good for you guys, enjoy tomorrow W101, let's see some opnening day pics. Might go for a drive this afternoon and see what it looks like to the east if me, see if any lakes are open I doubt it, most are still pretty solid white.

Cold , -5 , windy , slow in the morning   . Water mid 40 s ,
  Piles of pike up to 5 lbs , maybe 15-20 walleyes up to
 4 lbs ,  all males , all milting . This is a reservoir been
  closed for ever so no eaters  . Afternoon was beautiful , wind died .
  Great day ...pics , couple on my phone , but nothing
  to exciting . It's a little early ., but all equipment worked
   Flawlessly. All good .

Went and checked on a couple of the lakes today, they're open to angling, but not boating yet lol. By the looks of it it's going to be at least a week.

  Opening day in my youth in Manitoba ...Won't be long
  You Need some wind ...
  Here's some hard water Manitoba pike ...
   After break up , we would really get after the
     big ones .   Lol
