We'll keep in touch I know a few winter hot spots,, let's get er done.Anyone else out there up for some monster pike and walleye this weekend ??
I miss the perch fishing in the NE, one day we will move back to that country until then I have to settle for big eyes and big pike in the south. Trying to decide if we are heading to Newell for 12+ pound walleye or go to Lower kananaskis for some big bull trout on Saturday.
Wish I could. Looks like Lac Ste. Anne for me.Good luck to you guys
Screw them and their tags..
Yah,, I dont really feel sorry for you when you put it like that lol..Newell does hold some awesome eyes in it,, fished it quite a bit when we lived down there. With that said in all honestly mike you have to make the trip north and experience La Biche it really is something special. You have to experience it to beleive it. Especially on the open water it's unreal.
Perch are steady on there as usual. I'm not much of a Perch fishermen my self though. With that said I am heading out here in about a half Hr to hot a perch lake just north of the house,, getting bored lol..Tomorrow morning it's up early and hit la Biche.
What the heck,, turn er north east for an extra Hr and come on out,, big lake,, lots of room man..You get up at 5, leave the city at 6 your on the ice on La Biche by 8 (day break ) and yer set. We fish till 5 yer home for 7 at the latest.. Easy peazy we head into the city a few times a year just for the day what's the difference.m
