The Great White North!
« on: September 16, 2014, 04:07:03 PM »
ive had the pleasure of fishing up north on great bear lake for the past 8 weeks and it has been incredible. almost cheating at fishing lol alot of the fish have never seen hooks before and being a guide there is something i can see myself doing for many many years to come. my 8 weeks included numerous trips to the tree river a chance to see a fish of a lifetime a 70lb laker and i even took the IGFA record length greyling in my last week at 24.5". if you ever get the chance to explore the north the fishing and climate is incredible. I love my guiding and im proud to say besides a small 3-5lb laker for shore lunch daily every fish we catch is catch and release. Cheers to an outstanding summer! if you ever get bored mid summer book a trip and come see me up north ;) great food a beautiful lake and the best fishing in the world!

Fantastic pics, thanks for sharing.
The north is where it is at for sure.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

I have chased big rainbows with a tactic they use on bear lake lookin for bait fish and then casting to the bait fish schools.  Did you try that while up there?
