Shack is looking really good Paul.  One suggestion I would make would be on the runners.  You should try to make them wider so they have more floatation on the snow.  As they are they will be like skate blades and cut through it causing it to drag hard in deeper snow.  I have a wood shack I made that had similar size runners, and it caused me a lot of grief in fresh snow, or really deep snow.

Yeah thought about that a bit. Thing is pretty light shouldn't be an issue, but going to go with a 2 x 6 ski on the next ones. Has puckboard on them too.

Installing the airtight, decalling, loft bunk. Still wiating for the benches and cabinets though. Priced out solar systems, there are 2 ways to go. A guy can do the Canadian tire homemade system for around $1800 if a guy wants to go pro from Sunfind

270W Array, Roof Mount, 2800W Inverter, 225AH Battey Bank  (12V)

$4660 lol

A guy can burn a lot of generator fuel for $4600...

Oh if guys are wondering what I.C.E. stands for, "Insulated, contained environment"

Cool shelter all it needs is wheels and a laptop with built in sonar or under water video surveillance.

Yeah I am not sure on that badback things pretty expensive and we don't have much time to work on them really, the skid and shell would have to sell for around $5000 and then I suppose guys could put their own stuff in them if they wanted to. It's not like the US some outfits sell those custom trailer ice shacks for $20000 plus down there. By the time this one is finished I will have close to $9000 and that's with a lot of the materials at OEM pricing too. The benches and cabinets are being done by a custom cabinet maker out of oak. I have a 22" 1080p LED TV going in and a pioneer head unit/dvd with high end marine speakers too, I have an OEM agreement with Automobility for sound system from another company but the TV I had to buy at Future Shop. I am not going to put the solar in it's $4500 for something professional I can wire it for a generator pvc conduit for a fraction of that. Other options though for power there's a wind turbine a guy can get that's supposed to put out 600 watts peak per hour. That would be cool as long as a guy had a breeze around the clock.

All in all though it's one hell of a fun project though! Dan put the loft bed in, all aluminum and we load tested it to 500lb (2 fats guys hanging off the end of it and bouncing lol)

Changed out the stove to a better cast iron model, got the chimney in, put some cabinets in. All that's left to do is the custom fold out benches and cushions, cut the holes and I am going to do a 6" wide ski and re-puckbord it. I also have a set of jacks for the corners, this makes it convenient to jack up on the lake and block it up, then set the jacks down too, as the skis aren't full width will make it very stable.

Still working on this project lol. Added 6" skis. Still need to put the corner jacks on and get the benches in. Should have it ready before freeze up. I have the skid ready for the next one this it is 2" higher and will have a slide out like an RV.
