Never really fished them, Sonny.
Threw a line in the lake at the campground once but only saw suckers there.
Maybe the fish are in the other lakes there?
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

Yeah I thought about hauling the boat there lately but it's a long dusty haul from Hinton and I just don't have the gumption that I did years ago. lol

Getting back to Sundance Lake for a second.
There is a little lake just a mile to the south of of the main Sundance Lake.  It is not in the canyon, south of the narrows.
It apparently has some very nice Brookies in it.  Some friends of mine did very well there.
I must try that out this summer sometime.
Google maps show access within a couple kms of it.  Walk or quad from there.

I just google mapped Sundance lake. I see the road I used to take in when my ex bro in law and I hunted there years back but a line directly to the lake from that road is not visible. I don't doubt the line we took way back when has been over run with alders for years. There looks like a lot of well site access close to the lakes too. I see that little lake to the south.

I think I better take my friend up on his offer to ride his wife's quad and join them for a day of riding and twist their arm to explore around Sundance lake so I can try and find a route in or wait until the snow flies and spend a day on sleds looking for a way in. I am going to find that lake again  ;D

Be a perfect Lake to haul the canoe or kayaks into.
