Lots of Walleye but few over 50cm. Pike are small / skinny and look unhealthy. Not worth the trip......

Hmm certainly not what I experience when I am out there,, may have hit a bad day. Not sure about the Pike as I don't intentionally fish for them. At times I have had a hard time to get a walleye under 50. One of my favourite lakes in the Lakeland region by far. Walleye are beautiful golden brown and healthy fish. Great Lake..

Despite doing lots of work up there I have never fished or hunted in the wolf lake area.  Always looked like a decent lake to fish and hunt.  Been thinking of possibly putting in for moose up there and doing a moose/whitetail combo.  There are a couple small lakes back in the bush up there I have heard good things about as far as perch are concerned.  Don't know the name of them just know them on a map.

No good hunting or fishing out that way don't bother making the trip.  Just kidding I really like that area I hunt up that way every year and normally do a few camping trips out to the lake.
