Mahh,, I don't hate you but it's a little early for that yet,, still hunting season I don't start thinking about it until after Nov.

Yeah you're right but it's been kinda slow around here lately and I'm just trying to stir things up...haha..

I am still in summer mode.  Even hunting for me doesn't start till Nov 1.
I was out yesterday on the open water catching a few trout yet.  Water is getting cold though.
Getting out on the early ice for rainbows is always a blast and I hope to do that this year.
Here is a fish I caught yesterday:

Yeah it was slow and the only exercise I got was casting a few hundred times  ..nice fish Axe landed..

           This is maybe the first year I've started thinking about ice fishing before hunting season is over but it's been a crazy busy year work wise and ice fishing season usually coincides with work not so dang nuts season .

some of the best fishing action and the lakes are nice and quite cuz all the hunters are busy elsewhere!!!!!!

Sonny you got your wish, the snow has stayed on the ground for three day above town, the ice was about 100 yds from shore last night. Need more snow, less cold. Kid still has not found a moose but we are trying hard south of town.

Didn't get near any lakes today but the beaver dams are froze over, more snow staying in the shade. sunny spots are frozen and the swamps are getting stiff.

Where are you?  We are still very nice in the south with 20 degrees for the forecast high tomorrow for halloween!!  ice is a month or more away here yet.
