223 cal with clip ....

 I am looking to buy a bolt action with clip plus scope 4 X 12 or so .
   Recommendations......I don't like the look of Axis ,
    Trying to keep gun and scope under 1 k ...thnx

I don't blame you for not wanting an axis..

Not only are they butt ugly but they don't group worth a damn.

Its not a clip. Its a magazine. A clip feeds a magazine. For fast reloading. 2 different things.

I guess pictures will back up my words...butt ugly and don't shoot worth a damn especialy with dirt cheap ammo.

 What I hate about the net .  For the last 65 years of my life it's been a clip and it's still a clip !
    But thanks ! No one I know has ever tried to put a rolled up thin book into their
    Gun .....a magasine . Lol

In all seriousness I do like my axis with the boyds stock,it just fits nice.

It's topped off with a Bushnell Trophy XLT 6x18-40 scope

With good quality ammo such as Hornady 55gr z-max I can get sub minute groups and that ain't bad. ;)

*edit*

I should add that I removed the trigger spring and took it down a coil and a half. Also polished the trigger sear a little bit and now it has a pretty good trigger pull.

Ok it's a magazine,see I can change lmao .
 Bought a Ruger Amerian with Nikon scope at Shawnessy
  Can Tire ....Best price , Rich good guy , lots of guns .
  I finally went to Cabelas in my search . Again if your looking
    For a warm blanket with a deer pic on it ,that's your place .
    Now for a deer gun ....??????
