I have a new Ruger M77 280 Rem coming
any ideas on loads and stuff to try out?

I have recently acquired a Rem 700 Mountain SS in 280 . Had a hard time finding ammo but managed to find some Win Silvertip 140 gr. I also have a Rem 700 SPS 270 win and the 280 seems to have a little more juice. I plan on reloading ,when I can find some RL 19 , and using 140 gr bullets . This is an interesting caliber and plan on using it a lot . This probably does not help but I am in the same boat as you.

I bought from Prophet River yes
They have real good selection of 280 and 280 AI rifles

I found some 280 brass from P&D in Edmonton
I was gonna try the 154 gr Hornady SST bullets over either IMR 4350 or IMR 4831
