How about a couple of over and unders .223\20 ga. for the smaller stuff
A 12ga. over 30/06 for somewhat bigger stuff
And (if I never left Alberta a .300 Win mag) or a .375 H&H for big "bite back" game.

Hate to leave out the .22rim fire, perhaps the most common cartridge in the world.

and i guess a 505 gibbs
I would load shot in the shells and pour wax over them if i needed to shoot a bird
 ;)
Sorry I don't ice fish or hunt rabbits, but I did stay at a Holliday in express last night.

The question was what guns

So I would select a T/C Encore break action single shot.  You can get different barrels for this rifle so I might get a .223, a 7mm-08, a .300 win. mag. and a 375 H&H.  And if was going somewhere that required something over .40 cal then a 416 barrel.

Then I would like a nice .12 bore bird gun.  A Rem. 1100 semi auto would do.

A nice accurate bolt action .22 would round things out.

If I added a .22 barrel for the encore I could choose a handgun for one of the "guns".  Then that might be a Contender with a few different barrels.
