I have a 6-284 with brass ready to go the 6.5 is an easy pick.  The 284 case is a real gem.

I picked up some 6.5 284 Norma lapua brass ( ouch pricey) but I only found 1 neck sizing redding
Die. Do you use the 6.5 284 win die set with the Norma? I heard it's the same die set?

Yes use the 6.5 284 win die set.

Lapua has done the same thing calling the 6br Remington the 6br Norma.

I shoot this cartridge with 139 Lapua Scenar for paper target's and 140 Nosler Accubond for deer. There are many good powders out their to utilize, however my rifle ( Cooper Model 52, 26 inch barrel) loves 48.5 grains of VV160.........consistently shoots three shots sub-1/2".  H-4831 and H-4350 also very good powders used by bench rest shooters in the USA. Check-out accurateshooter.com website for load data.

I picked up some 4831 short cut and I'm gonna try out the 140 Berger's. The gun is a Remington action with a McClellan barrel, Jewell trigger on a a5 stock  ..... Can't wait to get out and fire this rifle ... Thanks guys
