Does anyone have any hunting experience with these Berger VLD bullets? I just got part of my order filled on some 7mm 140 and 168 grain bullets and hope to try them in the 280 Rem, 7mm Rem and 7mm Imp Mag.
Any observations on performance? Thanks, Mike

Great to hear Justin! The 615 BC (168) really intrigued me and I heard they shot very well but I have not heard too much about terminal performance. Were you able to recover any of the bullets? Thanks, Mike

How well do they hold up on marginal shots, or of you hit heavy bone? I shoot 160 TSX out of my 7 rem mag now but have wondered about the berger's for a while.

I'm looking forward to giving them a try this fall. Thanks for the info. Cheers, Mike

I've been loading the 168 VLD in my 7RM for the past 3 years. I've killed deer, moose and a variety of african PG including eland, zebra and blue wildebeest., and the others. I've killed them as close as 20-30 yds and as far as well over 400. I'm in full agreement with Justin, it's the most effective bullet out there.

Yeah I had a buffalo that really didn't like the 180 grains out of the 300 wm

I have yet to shoot anything with them yet but they sure are accurate. Ill be using them this year for sure.
