Interesting stuff to play with for sure. You mention that the .444 was no where near Remington's claims but in reality wouldn't you consider being only 137 fps off darn close.. To me that's pretty darn close.
Jimmy, what do you run for a chronograph now a days.
I would love to see some independent tests done on some of these cheaply designed "shadow type" chronys on the market. As an electronics engineer, I took one apart that my buddy accidentally shot...lol.It was a cheaply made imho, especially in the optics/sensors. They claim 99.5% accuracy though..I like the idea of "light screen" sensor chronys that don't rely on the sky screen technology and variable light conditions.http://www.dauntseyguns.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=MEHPVM21A while back, I was playing with the idea of designing this style of chrony as a project, just no time in my life though.
I've look at those ,but I was always curious as to how they effect the point of aim or the node of a rifle while devolving loads.
Interesting unit Jimmy,, where would one aquire such a machine.
I don't get it..Bullet A..Equals 2130 fpsBullet B..Equals ...1950fpsBoth are .30 calibre and target is 100 yards away
