Thank's for the picture Hammer. Look's like a nice size for a lady's hand?

Did you have any difficulty introducing your wife to handgun shooting?

It fits her well no doubt.
As for introducing her to hand gun shooting it does not hurt that she is instinctively a better shot then me and seen success pretty much immediatly.
Just like the very first time I took her fishing she hooked a nice rainbow on her very first cast ever.
And she has liked it ever since.

A few weeks ago I was snooping on some gun shop sites and I seen that Bullseye sports in London Ont. had five Chinese Type 54s on sale for only $189.. Well I just had to order one at that price. ;)
A few hours later they were sold out which goes to show you that if you find a good deal then you have to jump on it right away.
As for the pistol it is surplus unissued made in 1955 but the darn thing is like new. Sure it has some discolouration on it but the internals are like new.
Here's a few pics.

Nothing wrong with the way that little gun looks, like you say the price was right

Well nice find sonny, let us know how she shoots.

I only fired one box of ammo, S&B which is $32.99 a box here in town (screw that) and it shot low and to the left. This however is common with Tokarev tt33 pistols.
I ordered a can of surplus ammo from tradex (https://www.tradeexcanada.com/content/military-surplus-762x25-ammunition-russian-mfg-1260rd-sealed-can-free-shipping-offer)  but I don't expect this pistol to be anything but a 15 yard gun.
Which in terms of zombies is awesome.  8)

The bigger the boys the nicer the toys. Yet, agritech still has that same great big smile and big round eyes as a six year old boy with his first hunting rifle that came under the Christmas tree. :) :)

Thank you for the picture agritech.

Went to Ontario for a visit a couple of weeks ago and stopped in at Bullseye sports in London. Picked up a couple of Tokarevs… A big shoutout to Bullseye for fast shipping. (15 days)  ;)
First one is a Russian tt33 made in 1936 so there's a good chance this pistol killed a few Nazi bastards. I had a Russian tt33 before but I sold it and was sorry that I did so now it's replaced.
Second one is a Yugoslav M57, no date stamp on it but these were used in the 1990's during Bosnia and Herzegovina conflict. The Yugo has a longer mag than the Russian and holds 9 rounds instead of 8  rounds. The longer handle also feels more comfortable.
I also have a Chinese Type 54 Tok and now a Romanian and a Polish tok are on my list. North Korea also made these but good luck getting one from them. ::)

Here's a few pics

Thanks for the post Sonny.
Excellent additions to your collection.

I do have a question for you.

Since you are an Albertan and was able to converse with fellow gun owners in Ontario, what do they figure is going to happen with this massive gun ban that is upon us honest folks?

Modify: Best wishes to the Hinton Boys. You fellows hauled me out of some pretty bad situations when I was dumb kid. Thanks again. ;)

Well maybe not exactly gun of the week, but shooter of the week for sure.

Jack Wilson, brave Texan.  6 seconds response time and he had to get clear of people between him and the mass killer armed with a shotgun.
He fired one shot to the head of the killer and saved many lives.
So sorry for the loss of your two friends Richard and Tony, Jack.
We salute you and send our thanks and condolences.

Everyone I talked to agrees that the new proposed gun laws are a load of crap and will do nothing to make the streets safer.
Only time will tell what will happen but I hope the liberals get voted out before any new laws are implemented.

I wish this on no one but well done sir.

It only a matter of time until this starts happening in small town Canada. And we won’t be prepared to defend ourselves.
